My Gift to the World

This note was found at Christmas by my friend Jim & his wife Eileen. It was written by their nine year old son Owen. Children like Owen restore my faith that everything will be alright in this world. This boy is special. While other children are focused on what will be under the Christmas tree, Owen was busy making his business plan.
It's titled "My Gift to the World."


"My gift to the world would be to cure cancer.
It would help because most people don't survive cancer.
Here's my plan: Get a bunch of scientists and have them study different minerals and liquids, then if the scientists can find a cure I'd go to the hospitals and sell it.
For right now, I'll just donate money to Relay For Life.
There would be liquid medicines, pills and a shot when you are young to prevent cancer.
