Kim Kennedy...my brother...your brother...
EVERYBODY'S BROTHER!
"The most I can do for my friend is simply be his friend"

Some people will make the connection, while others won't even give it a second thought. Others will just overlook the day and its significance.
For those that experienced the journey on a daily basis, whether in person or via the internet it will be unavoidable.
Kim's passing was untimely for so many reasons. His youth was the obvious reason. However, we can all agree that he lived his fifty years fuller than those that make it to one hundred and fifty. The date is difficult, because of its relation to other dates. His first month anniversary fell just shy of Marina's birthday and their wedding anniversary. The next month was his fiftieth birthday. One month later was his lobster party. Now here we are six months later and we are days before Thanksgiving. Next month we will have Christmas and the New Years. I know they all come every year and everyone has to deal with losses and holidays, but it is the pairing of the dates that will make it more difficult.
I have always refused to celebrate the loss of a loved one, but I will whole-heartedly celebrate their lives. On Sunday, we will be toasting our Sam Light's to Kim's transition into the after life. I have heard rumors that he has been spotted around the world in various locations as a variety of different animals, in a child's eye or expression or simply as a warm feeling in someone's heart. Don't be selfish with these stories. Please share them on the guestbook and let others feel the gift of love you are receiving.
As always, hold those that have passed close to your hearts, but remember those that remain need to know they are loved and not forgotten.
